Jammu, July 3: Pouni Chack police have arrested an assailant who after stabbing one Vishal Handa son of Ashok Honda resident of Anand Vihar fled from the spot.Pouni Chack police under the supervision of SP Rural Mohan Lal had started manhunt to arrest the absconder and today on tip off police conducted raid in the house of one Narinder Singh alias Vicky son of Pritam Singh resident of Bishnah and arrested him. During his interrogation he told police that both had wine and under the influence of liquor they engaged into verbal duel and in the ensuing duel he stabbed him with a sharp edged weapon. Police have also recovered the weapon of offence from him. Manhunt for other absconders are on to arrest them.
