JAMMU, AUGUST 04 - The Annual Machail yatra of Goddess Chandi is commencing from its base camp, Bhadarwah- Chinote from August 18.
Yatris from Jammu in the form of a religious procession along with ‘Thali Mubarak’ shall leave Shri Maha Laxmi Mandir, Pacca Danga, Jammu towards Indira Chowk on August 17 at 6 a.m. The procession shall pass through Pacca Danga, Jain Bazar, Link Road, Purani Mandi, City Chowk, Raghunath Bazar and reach Indira Chowk wherefrom they shall board the buses for Bhaderwah-Chinote.
Thali Poojan Ceremony shall be performed on August 16 in Shri Maha Lakshmi Mandir, Pacca Danga, Jammu from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
