Bhaderwah, Aug 17: On the eve of 63rd Independence Day function, Abdul Hafeez Fani was felicitated with life time achievement award by the sub divisional magistrate, (SDM) Kalyan Singh Parihar. He was presented a school, memento and citation for rendering dynamic services towards the society.
Addressing the gathering SDM on the occasion highlighted the selfless services of Fani and describe him as a visionary, resourceful with progressive outlook and always ready to help the people at the time of need. Parihar urged upon the people especially the teachers to follow the footsteps of this person.
Hafeez Fani who recently retired as zonal education officer, district Doda has been awarded best teacher award in 1995 by the J&K government. Being a trade union leader is highly respected in social circles. His motto of life is to love all human beings and shun hatred. After retirement he is fully active for the upliftment of poor and backward people living in far flung areas of the district.
