| Reorganizing J&K only way out: Mankotia | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 15- Commenting over the Chief Minister denial on re-organization of J&K, JKNPP State President and MLA Udhampur Balwant Singh Mankotia on Tuesday termed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s statement indigestible and maintained re-re-organization of the state is the only ultimate solution to the problem of discrimination being faced by Jammu and Ladakh. Talking to media persons here today, Mankotia said, ‘Chief Minister should think first before making such statements as his government is not in majority in the state”. It is pertinent to mention that Chief Minister on yesterday ruled out any division of the state, rebuffing those asking for statehood for Jammu region, and said his government was trying to ensure that “justice is done” to the state’s three regions. Reacting over ‘Quiet Diplomacy’ by the Central Government to have talks with separatists, JKNPP state president said, ‘To generate party stand on ‘Quiet Diplomacy’, JKNPP is going to hold two day delegate session on December 19, 20 in which cadre from different districts would participate and general consensus of party over quiet diplomacy evolved’. “We would like to know from the Central Government that what was need of ‘quiet diplomacy’”, he said, adding, “We do not know what it contains and to whom it’s going to benefit”. He informed that besides delegate session, a membership drive will also launched by the party at gross root level and will target 10 lakh margins in their membership drive. He added that their cadre would make aware the masses about the policy and programs of the party and expose the wrongs of coalition dispensation. On ban on pre paid mobile service in Jammu and Kashmir, JKNPP leader hoped positive judgment by the Supreme Court where the petition is pending for final disposal.
