| IGNOU organises training programme for coordinators | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 14: A day-long training programme for the newly appointed Coordinators and Programme In chargers of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Learner Study Centres was organized at IGNOU Regional Centre here today.
The Coordinators, Programme Incharges and the Assistants of almost 20 newly established Learner Study Centres participated in the training programme.
The training programme was intended to familiarize the newly appointed functionaries with procedures and policies of the University which in turn would help in redressing the grievances of IGNOU learners and cater to the routine queries of the prospective learners in a big way.
The training programme was organized under the supervision of the Assistant Registrar Pappu Singh Sapriban and Dalip Bhat, Section Officer who briefed the gathering about the financial and accounting related matters and procedures of the University.
K K Bhat, Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu responded to all the queries put forth by the participants in a lively interactive session that lasted for more than one hour.
The newly appointed Coordinators/Programme Incharges and other functionaries of the newly established Learner Study Centres expressed their happiness and contentment for organizing such an interactive training session and hoped that many such events would be arranged in future for the benefit of students.
