| Several women political activists join NC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
R.S.Pura, May 14: A large number of women political activists of various political parties join National conference (NC) at a function organised by district president of women wing NC smt. Daljeet Sharma here today. Welcoming in the party fold, Rattan lal Gupta provincial president of NC, urged up on there to work hard and strengthen the party at grass root level and apprise the people about the policies and programmes of the party. He said Umar Abdullah's government is committed to provide basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps. He said government is doing its best to readdress the problems of border people. Among others who also spoke on the occasion were Taranjeet Singh Tony, Balwinder Singh, and Raj Kumar Suhkdev Singh Manhas etc.
