Nirvana Academy organises musical concert | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 15: Nirvana Academy organised a musical concert "Music Unplugged" to promote vocal and instrumental music on Santoor, Sarod, Tabla and Guitar at Lawrence Public School here today. An eloquent nurture of artistic grandeur was provided to the students. The proceedings of the event started with a prayer "Aye Khuda Reham Kar" followed by a Dogri song "Kanak Mandi Tu Tanga Chalya" which had generated enough enthusiasm among the audience. Amit Sharma mesmerized the audience with "Papa Kehte Hain Bada Naam Karega" on guitar. Vande Matram on Santoor and Sarod 'jugalbandi' was performed by Rohit Sharma and group. Other members of the club, Ali Ansar Hussain, Divendar Jamwal, Ankush Verma and Dheeraj Mathew gave melodious performances. A mesmerizing musical atmosphere was created all rounds which left the audience spell bound. The Principal of the school thanked the entire team of Nirvana Academy for conducting such an event in the school and expressed that this kind of activities shall provide grooming and creativity among the students. President Nirvana Academy Hitesh Badyal thanked the Principal and the school staff. He said that the club shall provide platform to the budding and talented students and also insists to use original music instruments instead of copy original music instruments on synthesizer.
