| Jamola Nehru Youth Club organises symposium | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, May 15: Jamola Nehru Youth Club (JNYC) in collaboration with Tiger Club Dalhori and Education Rural Development Society, Tandwal organized one day Symposium / Rally at village Dhangri on "Hazardous Impact of Air Pollution on Human & Plants Health".
The over all motive of this pious programme was to make general especially village Dangari resident aware about the consequences of various environmental pollution especially air pollution. Hundreds of people including villagers of Dangari, teachers, students, social workers, NGOs participated in this programe. On the occasion, a rally in Dangari which passes through different areas of the village finally culminated at Govt Girls Middle School, Dangari where symposium was held. Pankaj Chandan, Project Manger WWF-India for Himalayan States Project was the Chief Guest while Khem Raj Sarpanch was the guest of honor. Pankaj appreciated the efforts of organizing NGOs and villagers for organizing such awareness programme on environmental pollution in the era of globing warming and climate change. Speakers expressed their concern over increasing air pollution caused by the brick kilns in the densely populated areas due to which people are getting respiratory problems among the villagers.
