| 3 bovine smugglers arrested | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 17: Police claimed to have arrested three bovine smugglers and recovered 11 bovines from their possession here today.
Based on specific inputs regarding smuggling of bovines, police laid a 'naka' in Nagrota and intercepted a truck (JK02AF 7011). During the frisking, police recovered 11 bovines and arrested three smugglers.
The arrested persons have been identified as Zakir Hussain son of Alam Din, resident of Sidhra, Kulbir Singh, son of Sartool Singh, resident of R S Pura and Wali Mohammad son of Mohammad Hussain, resident of R S Pura.
The drive was conducted by SHO Nagrota under the supervision of ASP and SDPO Nagrota.
