Jammu, May 17: The two day party convention of NPP delegates concluded at karlah (Patnitop) with Prof. Bhim Singh Chariman of the party presiding over the concluding session. the convention was attended by more than 1000 delegates from different districts of the state held discussions on wide range of subjects including Delimita-tion, amendment in Article 370, r-organization of state on the basis of culture, language and geography, corruption in high offices, unemployment employees, farmers issues, drought conditions in the state, migrants and refugees problems, regional bias and discrimination besides lack of governance and poor deliverance, were discussed. While addressing Singh lambasted the coalition government for its total collapse and all round failure to deliver on the ground. He accused the coalition ministers of amassing huge wealth and of multiplying their assets at the cost of common man.
He deplored the plight of the farmers, the unemployed youth, the employees class, the poor laborers who were being deprived of their due share despite tall commitments made with them by the government.
He said there was no sign of government except occasional press statement issued by information department at the behest of ministers. He urged upon the party workers to prepare for a decisive battle, and renewed his pledge to oppose, expose and to depose the corrupt and authoritarian rule of congress-NC alliance. He exhorted the workers to unmask the corrupt ministers and further exhorted the party officer bearers to undertake extensive touring of rural and remote areas, which were deprived of basic amenities of life and to work for the amelioration f the lot of the common man. prominent among those who addressed the gathering included MLA's Harsh Dev Singh, Balwant Singh Mankotia Yash paul Kundal, MLC Syed Rafiq Shah and state Faqir Nath, Farooq Ahmed Dar provincial President Kashmir, Maqbool Malik and Sukhdev singh etc .
