| Red Cross distribute relief at village Bomiyal | | |

Jammu, May 17: The district branch of Red-Cross organized a relief distribution -cum-awareness camp at govt. middle school, Bomiyal, in Zone Dansal here the other day. About 25 poor and deserving students who were already identified were provided blankets, one each, beside this nearly 300 going students of various school of the zone were provided free note books, pencils, sharpeners and rubbers. Executive secretary Red Cross Sursh Sharma along with the volunteers of Red Cross appraised the gathering. About influenza and menace of H1N1 and made them aware about 1the measures to be taken. As per press release gathering present on the occasion showed tremendous enthusiasm with regard to services rendered by the Red-Cross. Present on the occasion among others were Vijay Gupta, Bupinder Singh Jamwal, Nasib Singh and Bashir Ahmed etc.
