| Ist step celebrates technology day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 17: On the occasion of 'Technology Day' the Ist step tutorial organized a skill test on science and technology based on the syllabus of 9th and 10th class in which 50 students participated in the written test, out of which 10 were qualifying for the discussion round. On 17th May final speech round was played and 5 students were selected. Ist prize of practical apparatus of Rs. 500 each were given to two candidates, Marvi Sharma (9th, St. Xavier School, Bernai) and Meenakshi Dutta a class 10th students of St Francis Convent, School, Mendhar 2nd prize of Rs 200 was given to Sumit Gupta 10th, Indira Public school, Janipur and 3rd prize of Rs 100 was given to two students Pooja Andotra (10th, IPS, Janipur) and Nidhi Sharma of 9th class Dreamland Public School, Janipur.
All the prizes were distributed by Chief Guest BL Kapoor, state chairman, J&K human right watch appreciated by Viney Gupta, Director Ist step tutorial for organizing such mind growing competition. He further said that competitions are necessary for becoming perfect in the field of life to face every challenge especially in these days when it is competitive atmosphere.
