| JMC Health Officer Conducts checking of food establishments | | |

Jammu, May 17: On set of summer season, the Jammu Municipal corporation (JMC) health officer, Dr. Mohammad Anwar Chowdhary along with the team checked restaurants, dhabas, tee cram parlours, fruit juice shops, meat and chicken shops tea stalls etc in various part of the city. During the checking 58 offenders were booked under PFA act 1954. as per press release about 30 Kg of such-standard of ice-cream and other food preparations kept in un-hygienic condition were destroyed on spot beside an amount of Rs.14,250 were realized as five from the delinquents on spot. The team also destroyed 20 Kgs of raw meat kept in open and 15 Kgs of cut fruits.
