| NTSA elects Rajesh as president | | |

Jammu, May 18: Rajesh Kumar has been elected as president of the newly framed Naib Tehsildar Service Association (NTSA) Jammu in an election held here today. The others elected are Shazad Latif Khan as vice president Babu Ram as general secretary and Anil Atri treasurer of the Association Moreover, the five executive members were also elected which included Manish Sharma, Raman Chalotra, S Harjeet Singh, Vijay Sharma and Mohd.Shabir. Out of 72 members of the association, total 68 votes polled during the election held under Govt. SRO 160 and RTI rules. After elected as president of NTSA, Rajesh Kumar while addressing press conference thanked the members who voted and elected him as president of the association. He assured the members that work of the betterment and welfare of Naib-Tehsildar and sought the corporation of all the members of the association. On the occasion, he raised demanded removal of pay anomalies; revision of pay band for Naib-Tehsildars etc. he also said till date Naib-tehsildar is considered a non-gazetted cadre, so keeping in mind the high job responsibility of NT, the association will press the State Govt. to consider Naib-Tehsildar for Gazzeted rand besides removing pay anomalies and revision of pay band for them.
