JKNPP demands delimitation of assembly segments | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 18: Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has demanded holding of immediate delimitation of Assembly constituencies in Jammu Kashmir to remove the constitutional discrimination against the people of the state. Addressing media persons here today, JKNPP State president and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia while deliberating over the resolution passed during recent held delegate session said, "The resolution has been passed that the entire country held delimitation except Jammu and Kashmir which is a grave constitutional discrimination against the people of Jammu and Kashmir which must come to an end". He informed that 1310 delegates of JKNPP hailing from different parts of the state participated in two days special delegate session held at Patnitop on May 15-16. Giving details of the important resolutions carried unanimously, Mankotia said JKNPP demanded that unemployed graduates and other professionally trained youth should be deployed for taking census 2011 so that thousands of poor children in government schools shall not suffer. He informed that the resolution also demanded census on the basis of language and local migration and not on caste basis alone, Rs 5000 for every educated unemployed youth till absorption, regularization of SPOs, Rs 4500 to VDCs, implementation of Governor's recommendation following the special committee report to provide full arrears to employees of government and public sector. Panthers Party extended full support to the demand of appointing a Dogra as Vice-Chancellor for Central University, Jammu. Meanwhile Mankotia announced Anil Parihar District President Kishtwar, as Provincial General Secretary of the party and Jagdeep Singh Parihar shall hold the charge of District President Kishtwar for the time being.
