Resident doctors hail Govt. decision

Jammu, May 18: The resident doctors association in a meeting chaired by Dr. Ashad Bhat welcomed the government decision in fixation of tenure of register and demonstrators for the period of 3 years instead of 2 years in various government medical and Dental colleges. Bhat said non J&K doctors will become eligible for the part of assistant professor anywhere in the country and will also compete at national level. Speaking on the occasion Dr Bhagat appreciated the efforts put forth by Dr Arshad Bhat, Dr. Pankaj Soodan, Dr. Tarsam Motten and Dr. Nordosh Mahajan in getting the order issued well in time when few of the registrars and demonstrators were about to be relieved after completing two years of their tenure.
