| Fissures in NSUI | | | WHILE on their part the main organizers of Seminar on late Rajiv Gandhi's martyrdom day managed to change the venue for smooth and successful conduct of the function but the counter faction came out with grumblings and grouse that they were allowed to welcome and meet the ' Youth Icon' of Congress .Sachin Pilot and this was done 'on the directions of some senior Congress leaders'.
In a separate statement they alleged hunderds of N.S.U.I Leaders from all over the state, who were moving towards the Abhinav Theatre, under the Leadership of.Nitish Mahajan (N.S.U.I State Vice President) were stopped at the entrance of the Theatre. Enraged, these NSUI leaders shouted slogans against the PCC senior leaders.
Mahajan also alleged that 300 students from 5 different districts of Jammu Region had come to Jammu to meet Sachin Pilot and Prof. Saif ud Din Soz Sahab, but such 'misconduct and mismanagement' have ruined the entire frame of mind of Students, leaving them disappointed.
"The function was high jacked by only those people who were involved in Laptop Politics….. these people do not have any public base", alleged another leader. This group
also wanted to present memorandum to Sachin Pilot in which they have sought immediate elections in the N.S.U.I, J&K wing.
