JAMMU, May 22: In order to carry out the preventive maintenance tests on power transformers and routine maintenance of various equipments at Grid Station Gladni, the power supply to Gandhinagar, Nanaknagar, Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, Old Jammu city and twin district of Rajouri and Poonch shall remain affected on May 23, 2010 from 6 A.M to 10 A.M.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out stringent work of 220 KV D/C Barn-Bishnah-Hira Nagar Transmission line, the power supply to the following areas being fed from 11 KV Raika feeder emanating from 33/11 KV R/Stn. Jakh, the power supply to Gho, Rara, Than Kalan, Swankha, Chang, Rakwal, Gouri Chak, Bhagatpur, Kothe and its adjoining areas shall remain affected from May 25, 2010 to May 27, 2010 from 6 a.m. to 2 .p.m
The shut down shall be subjected to fair weather conditions.
