| 25 kg RDX recovered from in Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 22: 25 kilograms of deadly-RDX and other explosive items were recovered by security forces from a hideout of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants in Dachchan area of Kishtwar today.
Acting on a tip-off, police and 11 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) troops launched an operation in Lopara forests of Dachchan in the morning. Police sources said while making searches, the troops came across a HM hideout.
Its search led them to the recovery of 25 kg RDX, two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), three .12 bore guns, 13 grenades, one AK rifle with 239 rounds and one RPG.
The hideout was later smashed by the troops, the sources added.
