| MR Sharma may take over as next Principal DCH Jammu | | |

JAMMU, May 22: Eminent Professor of Prosthodontics and Dental Materials, MR Sharma is likely to be the next Principal of Dental College & Hospital, Jammu.
Sharma, who had attained superannuation on July 31, 2009, may again be entrusted with job in view of non-availability of competent and eligible person for the job.
Presently, Rajinder Singh, Principal Government Medical College & Hospital, Jammu has been given the additional charge of Principal, Dental College & Hospital (DCH) Jammu.
MR Sharma had already served as Principal of DCH Jammu for four years and keeping in view his competence, he may be given the opportunity to serve the institution as next Principal.
Official sources informed that the government has recently advertised the post inviting applications from eligible persons.
"So far, MR Sharma has submitted his application as he fulfills all eligibility criteria," said sources, adding "There seems to be no hurdles in his appointment as next Principal in view of non-availability of eligible persons in the College."
When asked about the appointment of the Principal Dental College Jammu, R S Chib, Minister for Medical and Technical Education said that the post has been advertized and it is hoped that a competent and eligible person would be appointed as the Principal as per the guidelines of DCI.
