| 2 killed, 1 injured in truck-car collision | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, May 23: Two persons were killed while another was seriously injured in a car-truck collision on bye pass road here today. According to reports, a car bearing registration number JK02AN-4030 on way to Srinagar from Jammu collided head on with truck bearing registration number JK03-498 coming from opposite direction near Officer's mess resulting into death of two persons and injuries to another.
The deceased were identified as Ujjagar Singh son of Gurjeet Singh of Jammu and Ram Kumar son of Guru Ditta of RS Pura.
The identity of the critically injured has been established as Jasbir Singh, who was hospitalized at district hospital Udhampur.
The dead bodies were handed over to family members after conducting postmortem. Police have registered a case in this regard.
