| Municipal, local bodies pensioners association discuss problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 23: The members of municipal and local bodies pensioners association in a meeting discussed the problems being faced by the pensioners.
MA Mushtaq who chaired the meeting urged upon the government for implementation of recommendations of sixth pay commission report at par with the central government employees and issue order for release 8% DA.
Members in the meeting early disposal of the pensionery cases since January Ist, 2006, which are held up in the whirlwind of redtapism of municipal authorities and also in the office of director local bodies of Jammu province.
They also demanded pension be departed in bank account as being done in case of state government pensioners.
The meeting among others was attended by BS Jamwal RC Bhatti Waryam Singh, CL Jalali, BD Verma, ML Gupta, Gulzar Choudhary, Chuni Singh, Latiff Sardar and others participated in the meeting.
