| Migrant TWA organizes teachers meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 23: To discuss various issues and day to day problems being faced by the migrant teachers were discussed fully at teachers meet organized by the migrant, teachers welfare association (TWA ) here today.
President of the association Manoj Kaul who chaired the meeting apprised the gathering about the latest developments with regard to the implementation of the Supreme Court's judgement for the release of HRA/ CCA in favour of migrant employees and appreciated the speedy action taken by the department of law at civil secretariat for implementation of the court order. He also appreciated the role played by different migrant employees association from time to time at various level for this justice cause of migrant employees.
JN Sagar who was the guest of honour, spoke about the struggle of the migrant teachers association and the present scenario of the movement. He laid emphasis on the unity of the teachers community so as to get their grievances redressed by the government.
The meeting was conducted by Harish Koul, secretary of the association and the welcome address was presented by Dr VK Dhar, convenor of the association.
Among others, the meeting was addressed by AK Sadhu, and Raj Kumari Bakshi.
