| PM to address media today | | | NEW DELHI: omorrow Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would hold a Press conference. He is going to address media persons and answer their questions on the completion of his one year in office during the UPA Government's second term.
This had commenced last year on May 22; and on its first anniversary the Prime Minister was slated to host lunch yesterday for his Cabinet colleagues and peers from other parties besides select invitees at his 7, Race Course Road residence here. But this had to be called off after Saturday morning's crash of an Air India aircraft at Manglore Airport in Karnataka.
Yet the already scheduled Press conference of the Prime Minister is going to take place tomorrow where Manmohan Singh is likely to discuss the achievements of his first year rule as the leader of UPA II and given answers about its shortcomings. His address to the media is likely to be telecast live by most news channels which may well turn this into a virtual address to the nation.
