| Several mines explode in fire on LoC | | | JAMMU: As fire last night spread from across the Line of Control (LoC) to Keri in Rajouri, several landmines exploded, clearing a large chunk of the border land of them.
Fire erupted on the Pakistan side of forest along LoC and spread to Indian side in Keri sector of Rajouri late last night, official sources said.
Several mines exploded as a result of the fire, the sources added.Security forces and forest officials later controlled the forest fire.
Sources said a forward post was also partially damaged in the fire. There was, however, no loss of life or injury to anyone, the sources added.
