| Tehsil Tathri face acute shortage drinking water | | |

Jammu, May 24: President Teshil Thathri Development Front (TTDF)Kuldeep Kumar Rao have urges upon the PHE Minister and MOS for power to personally look into the grievance of the people of Tehsil Thathri, District Doda that natural; water resources in some areas of Tehsil have dried up due to less rains and hot summer and a result the people of Hagona, Panshaee, Sichal Joura Kalan and Joura Khurd have to travel 4to 5 kms to fetch a bucket of water as the PHE Department has totally has failed to maintain the water supply in these localities. He said people of Hagona and Joura had approached to PHE Minister six months back but their applications have been thrown in the dustbin by PHE Department Doda. Rao urged the state government immediately redress the grievance of the people of Thathri No.Electric supply is being given to villages like jia, Bola Suranga, Kuntha, Padhara, dhalla and many villages in Chiralla area. The people of this tehsil are facing great hardships on this account. MLC Doda Naresh Gupta has already highlighted this problem in the assembly and PHE Minister has also instructed concerned SE and Xen Doda to take necessary action.
