| Registered unemployed asked to avail benefits under VSA | | |

UDHAMPUR, May 24: Deputy Director Employment, Udhampur has asked the unemployed youth of the district to avail benefit under Voluntary Service Allowance (VSA) in which allowances ranges from Rs 500 to Rs 1100 for different categories and Rs 50 in addition per month shall be admissible in favour of women in all categories.
As per the District Employment and Counselling Centre, Udhampur the registered unemployed youth in the age group of 28 to 37 years as on 1.1.2010 with matriculation by or before 31.3.2010 can avail the benefits under the scheme.
The candidate should be registered with District Employment and Counselling Centre, Udhampur by or before 5.12.2009 and should not be in possession of 10 kanals of irrigated land or 20 kanals of un-irrigated land. The annual income of unemployed youth should not exceed Rs 0.50 lakh from all sources including agriculture land.
The Voluntary Allowance would be provided for a period of 3 years. The eligible candidates should immediately approach the office of the Deputy Director Employment and Counselling Centre, Udhampur for further details.
