YLJ demands disclosure of Amarnath shrine funds | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 24:
Yuva Lok Janshakti (YLJ) has demanded proper disclosure of all the funds received at the Amarnath Shrine and same to be utilized for the renovation of temples in Kashmir. Addressing media persons, National President, YLJ, Sanjay Saraf said that funds could also be used for providing medical and educational facilities to the needy and down trodden sections of the society. He further said that Amarnath Yatra should not be commercialized and offering food to the yatries is of utmost importance. YLJ leader demanded immediate waiving off of Rs 25000 being charged as fee for setting up langars. Saraf said that previously 10,000 Sq feet area was allotted to the langers but now only 2000 Sq feet are provided besides toll tax of Rs 2300 rupees per vehicle are being charged at Lakhanpur which is great injustice with the devotees, who are offering selfless service to the yatries through langars. Highlighting other issues, he demanded that Rozgar Yojna should be properly implemented in the state. He also demanded Prime Minister’s package for unemployed Kashmiri Pandit Migrants should have clear process and there should be ‘No Transfer Policy’ compulsion. Saraf siad that National Commission of Youth should be constituted to solve the problems of the youth and in this connection LJSP is going to organize a rally at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on August 5.
