| VOJ presents challan | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, MAY-24 (JNF):- Vigilance organization Jammu today presented challan in the Court of Special Judge Anticorruption against Madan Lal then Head-Draftsman JDA Div-1 Jammu who was caught red-handed by the VOJ on August 25, 2009, while demanding and accepting Rs 500 as bribe.
According to VOJ, one Romesh Kumar Sharma lodged a written complaint in which he submitted that head draftsman JDA Division-1 Jammu demanded Rs.500/- for processing the pay dues of 10 security guards of Punjab Security hired by Jammu Development Authority for the security purposes. Accordingly a trap was laid and head draftsman was caught red-handed while accepting Rs 500/-. VOJ recovered the bribe money and arrested the accused who was granted bail by the special Judge Anticorruption Jammu on August 28, 2009. JNF
