KHC discusses problems confronting KP's | | | Early Times Report Jammu, 25: The activists of Kashmiri Hindu conference (KHC) have expressed shock over the state government failure in maintaining peace and regulate the mutual relations among the people. But on the other hand fundamentalism, communalism and Islamination have all along been patronized. Addressing the workers meeting KHC chairman M.L.Thusoo said, that the youth of the community have to understood that the basic social structure is not congenial and endanger thus lives, freedom and community identify, if they go to Kashmir. He said return of KP is a political issue and not economic one. The leaders in the meeting reiterated their demand to establish a big township on a stretch of forty thousand Kannals of land for this mincule minority. This is a simple proposition which can pave a way for the return and rehabilitation of the community and added establishment of township is the core and primary issue. The community will return enemas where the loss of life and uncertainty chances is zero. The grant of minority status, constitutional guarantees and reservation of seats in state legislature will ensure the stay of the community in the valley. He said state Govt.has grabbed leftover loud of the displaced Pandits and had closed the ways of return of the Pandits. This process of acquiring land without the information and consent of Pandits this in the reason that the Pandits do not trust the sincerity of the Govt. The speakers who addressed the meeting among others include P.L.Koul Budgam, K.L.Ganjoo, A.K.Shadoo, M.L.Daftri, Jai Kishen Raina, S.N.Raina, A.K.Bhat, and J.I.Mantoo.
