| State level UC MAS Mental Arithmetic contest held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 25: First-ever state level U C MAS Abacus and Mental Arithmetic competition held wherein over 150 students from six centers of J&K participated.
The children in the age group of 4 - 3 years solved 100 to 150 sums (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in just eight minutes with abacus and without abacus (mentally). Tanya Aggarwal of DPS School was adjudged Champion Of Champions
This event was conducted by the master franchisee of J&K in the presence of chief guest, Vijay Puri, Academic Director of KC Gurukul and Vikesh Sandhel, Principal Air Force School Satwari and Renu Sachdeva, Principal Heaven Kingdom School, who were guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, guest of honour, Principal Air Force School Satwari, Vikesh Sandhal appreciated the UC MAS for the movement.
Participants student of different UC Mas centers were given away participation trophies by Renu Sachdeva, Principal Heaven Kingdom School.
