Summer Vacations for Jammu Schools from June 1

EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, May 25: The State Government today ordered that all educational institution including recognized private schools upto higher secondary level failing in the Summer Zone of Jammu Division shall observe 55 days summer vacations with effect from June 1, 2010 to July 25, 2010.
It has been ordered that five day summer vacations with effect from June 1, 2010 to July 5, 2010 shall be observed by the Educational Institution including private recognized institutions of winter zones falling in Jammu division.
Any default on the part of private school(s) in observance of the calendar of vacations shall attract action under the rules.
