| Jan covenes meeting of GREF officer | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, May 26: To discuss the ongoing roads in the district especially the jammu poonch highway and the khet to gagrian road , gali maidan to kainth road , gali pindi to chela dangri road MLA Poonch Sh Aijaz Jan today convened a meeting of top brass of gref officers in conference hall
.The MLA while discussing with the DDC poonch kuldeep khajuria, Chief Engineer GREF, CDR Col Vishal and SE PWD Sh Bhat elaborated the importance of roads and that they are an index of growth in any civilized society.
The chief engineer GREF briefed the MLA that the clearance from forest ministry has been a main cause for delay of projects to which MLA responded that the matter has already been taken up with forest minister mian altaf and he has shown great interest in it without compromising on the flora and fauna of the district.
DFO poonch Qureshi was directed to speed up the issue of correspon-decnce at appropriate levels.
