| MMC hails releasing of 8% DA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 26: President of the National Mazdoor conference Subash Shastri has hailed the decision of the state cabinet in releasing the installment of 8% DA due from January this year in favour of its employees and pensioners and term it as Salaried class friendly decision. Describing the previous year as a year of Salaried class since Chief Minister took historic decision of 6% &5% pending DA Installments due form January and July last year enhancement of wages of daily wagers from Rs.70 to 110 per day and implementation of 6th pay commission and several other measures. He said this year should be the years of clerical staff adding that their all anomalies should be removed in one go well before. 15th of June next month. Shastri also focused the attention of the state Govt. to the long pending demands of the employees to expedite the process of removing all anomalies in the pay scales of various sections of the employee's particularity clerical staff of the state Govt.
