| MLA Bimla address Women's meet at Trikutanagar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 26: addressing a large attended Women's meet at Trikutanagar here today the National conference MLA, Bimla Luthra, said that the chief minister Omar Abdullah is committed to uplift the poor masses of the state, especially the women folk. She said since Omar took over as CM of the state, a lot of progress has been made in various fields. She said for the upliftment of women a number of schemes have been launched, which include a loan of Rs.50, 000 to start some trade under India Awas Yojna. She appealed the women's to avail the benefit of various schemes launched by the government for the welfare of women of the state. Among others also spoke in the meet were Veena Oberio, Satwant Kour, Lalita Sharma, Dilshad Malik, Raj Kour, Rano Bharti etc.
