| PDP anti Jammu Party: Sawhney | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 26: "PDP is anti-Hindu, PDP is anti Jammu, PDP is anti J&K and PDP has no regard for sentiments of people belonging to the Jammu region, AK Sawhney said while announcing his plans to quit from the party post. Sawhney, known for his persuasive power and strong advocacy skills went down calling PDP many names. After hosting several dinner and luncheon meetings in the honour of top PDP leadership and desperately trying his level best to scale the ladder in the party hierarchy Jammu based face of the PDP and party spokesman AK Sawhney on Wednesday called quits with a heavy heart. Sawhney when asked to throw light on his association with the PDP leadership and what went wrong which forced him to quit the party Sawhney said, when i failed to put across my point of view and saw that PDP has no regard for such valuable sugesstions and has no scope left due to its anti Jammu, anti Hindu and anti state policies which are in line with separatist agenda i thought i should quit gracefully as my voice has lost significance within the party. It is notable here to mention that soon after joining the PDP Sawhney was instrumental in organising series of lectures, seminars and public awareness campaigns, party conventions to popularise PDP's view point and agenda of self-rule in the Jammu region but with his decision to quit the party has come as a major jolt to the party looking forward to spread its foot hold in Jammu region in view of the growing chasm between the coalition partners in the state.
