| 7 gamblers arrested, Rs 14000 recovered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 30: Nowabad police arrested seven gamblers and recovered Rs 14.360 from their possession.Nowabad police led by SHO Sajad Khan under the supervision of SDPO West Mohan Lal Kaith on specific information conducted a raid in Krishna Nagar area and arrested the seven gamblers who were engrossed in playing gamble.They have been identified as Parveen Kumar,Faqir Chand,Labha Ram,Ravi Kumar, Pooran Chand,Anup Kumar and Raju,all are the residents of Krishna Nagar.
Police also recovered rupees fourteen thousand and three hundred sixty from their possession.
A case under section 13 gambling act has been registered against the accused in the Nowabad police station.
