| Transfer of 10 Sessions Judges ordered | | |

JAMMU, May 30: In a full Court meeting held with the Chief Justice, Dr Aftab Hussain Saikia in chair, super time was accorded to six selection grade session judges. In addition six judges were placed in selection grade and transfer of ten judges was ordered.
According to orders issued today by Registrar General of J&K High Court, MK Hanjura, district and sessions judge Budgam Moulvi Javid was given Super time Scale with effect from April 1, 2008. Bansi Lal Bhat Principal Sessions Judge Jammu placed in the Super Time Scale with effect from February 1, 2009. Janak Raj Kotwal Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu given Super-Time Scale with effect from May 1, 2009. Altaf Hussain Principal District & Sessions Judge Anantnag is placed in the Super Time Scale with effect from October 27, 2009. Gous-ul-Nissa Jeelani Principal District & Sessions Judge Srinagar placed in the Super Time Scale with effect from October 27, 2009 and AK Shan presently Member J&K Special Tribunal Jammu is placed in the Super Time Scale with effect from December 23, 2009.
Another order placed six judges in Selection grade. They include Brij Mohan Gupta Principal District & Sessions Judge Poonch is placed in the Selection Grade with effect from May 1, 2009. Hari Om Singh Additional Sessions Judge Anantnag is placed in the selection grade from May 1, 2009. Abdul Rashid Bhat-II 3rd Additional Sessions Judge Srinagar Anantnag is placed in the selection grade from May 1, 2009. Asmat Hussain Shah Principal Sessions Judge Bhaderwah placed in the selection grade from September 27, 2009. GK Pandita placed in the selection grade with effect from October 27, 2009. MK Hanjura Registrar General J&K High Court placed in the selection grade with effect from October 27, 2009.
In yet another order transfer of ten session judges was effected. Subash Chander Gupta Principal District & Sessions Judge Leh has been transferred and posted as One Man Forest Authority, Jammu & Kashmir vice Mohan Lal Manhas. Mohan Lal who has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Kishtwar vice Gopi Krishan Pandita who has been transferred and posted as Additional District & Sessions Judge Jammu against a vacant post. Aijaz Ahmed Mir, Principal District & Sessions Judge Pulwama transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Leh vice Subash Chander Gupta. In the order it has been mentioned that Aijaz Ahmed Mir will also look after the Court of Principal District & Sessions Judge Kargil. Syed Farooq Ahmed Principal District & Sessions Judge Kulgam has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Pulwama vice Aijaz Ahmed Mir. Asmat Hussain Shah, Principal District & Sessions Judge Bhaderwah transferred and posted as Additional District Judge Bank Cases Srinagar against a vacant post. Mohd Ali Khan Additional District & Sessions Judge Pulwama is transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Kulgam. Muzaffar Iqbal Qureshi, President Divisional Consumer Forum Srinagar is transferred and posted as Additional District & Sessions Judge Pulwama. Pawan Dev Kotwal Additional District & Sessions Judge Doda will hold additional Charge of Court of Principal District & Sessions Judge Bhaderwah. Hari Om Singh Additional District & Sessions Judge Anantnag has been transferred and attached with High Court wing of Jammu against a leave reserve post.
In this order it has been mentioned that all the transferees shall move simultaneously and handover the charge to available judicial officers. JNF
