| BJP accuses Cong-NC govt of wasteful expenditure | | |

Srinagar, May 31: BJP today accused the Congress-National Conference government in the state of wasteful expenditure on the residences of ministers and bureaucrats.
"When the government does not have funds for regular salaries and arrears of its employees, from where are the funds coming for renovation and adding fancy gadgets in the bungalows of ministers nd bureaucrats?" asked state unit president Shamsher Singh Manhas, currently on a visit to the valley.
He alleged crores of rupees were being spent on the renovation of bungalows of ministers and bureaucrats.
Manhas also interacted with people from different parts of the city.
He alleged that very little of the funds granted to the state by the Centre actually reach the intended beneficiaries.
