| Youth killed after unknown vehicle hits him | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU: A 30-year-old youth was killed on being hit by an unknown vehicle on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway at Udhampur, about 70 km from here, in the wee hours of today.
He was identified as Kuldeep Kumar, son of Krishan Lal of Traad.Police sources said he was spotted lying in a pool of blood on the road by some passersby, who then contacted police.Cops rushed to the spot and evacuated him to the Udhampur district hospital where before breathing his last he told police that he was hit by some speeding vehicle.
Police had registered a case in this connection. Earlier reports alleged he was murdered by some unknown persons.
