| Kranti Dal, DTSSS protest mismanagement into Dharmarth Trust | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 2: Kranti Dal and Dharmarth Trust Sudhar Sangarsh Samiti today a staged protest against the Dharmarth Trust and torched the effigy of president of the trust.
Kranti Dal and Dharmarth Trust Sudhar Sangarsh Samiti alleged mismanagement, embezzlement in Dharmarth Trust and demanded public board to be constituted for proper management of Dharmarth Trust and Shrine to protect the interest of Yatries and public at large.
The leaders of KD and DTSSS alleged corrupt practice by the management of Dharmarth Trust quoting that at Raghunath temple devotees were asked to offer money for Pooja, Prasad etc.
Later, a deputation met Divisional Commissioner Jammu and submitted memorandum to Governor through Divisional Commissioner demanding CBI enquiry into the matter.
'This practice not only hurts the religious sentiments of devotees but also sent wrong message among the general masses," they alleged.
The speakers demanded a board on the lines of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board be constituted and take over the management of temples from Dharmarth Trust.
Those who took part in protest included Rah Roop Singh president KD, Himasnshu Bali, Man Singh, Pritam Sharma, Subesh Gupta of DTSSS and others.
