| Inter-zone sports meet of Reasi concludes | | | Early Times Report
REASI, June 2: Two-day Inter-Zonal Tournament of Reasi district in the disciplines of kabaddi, volleyball and kho-kho concluded at Kamble Danga High School here today under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS). About 250 boys and girls drawn from all the five zones of district participated in this tournament held on knock-out basis. Chief Education Officer Reasi, Koushal Kumar was chief guest in the concluding function, who gave away winners and runners-up trophies. He also handed over scholarship cheques to 16 such students who represented the state at the national level in the School Games. Among others present were heads of the institutions, zonal physical education officers and prominent citizens. Earlier, the tournament was declared open by the District Officer, Rajinder Singh. Finals were officiated by Vipan Kumar, Ranjeet Singh, Ashok Kumar, Romesh, Suman Lata, Ashoka Kumari and Madan Lal.
