| Govt frames committee to enquire into Selection process | | ICDS project Gundna | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 4: The State Government has constituted a 3-member Committee for enquiring into the selection of Anganwari Workers of ICDS Project Gundna, Tehsil and District Doda.
The members include Deputy Director (Adm.) Jammu and one CDPO to be co-opted by the Committee for being associated in the process of enquiry with Deputy Director (ICDS), Jammu as its Chairperson.
The Committee shall investigate the complaints made regarding the selection brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Depart-ment primarily in the light of letter No.DSWJ/ ICDS/338 /21882/10 dated 04.03. 2010 of Directorate of Social Welfare, Jammu together with examining records of selection of candidates in all other related selections before formulating concrete recommendations. The committee shall duly publicize its date(s) of visit for conducting enquiry and shall adopt appropriate procedures for eliciting information for preparing a flawless report.
The Committee shall furnish its report within one month from the date of issue of this order and shall be duty bound to ascertain the veracity of the complaints from the general public by holding camps and paying field visits to the locations/ mohallas wherever the centres are located.
