| Semis line up draw in Bandey Memorial Volleyball | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, June 4: Semifinals position has been cleared in the ongoing 4th Mohd Din Bandey Memorial Volleyball Championship being organised by Bandey Memorial Society at Degree College, here today. The teams reaching the semifinals are Manjit Singh Club (Sr), Police Central Team, Surankote and Pinto Club. Now, in the semi-finals, to be played tomorrow, Manjit Club shall take on Pinto Club while Police XI shall meet Surankote Club.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played today, Manjit Singh Club (Sr) defeated Khametar Volleyball Club in straight sets of 25-13, 25-12, 25-14 while Police Central team trounced Manjit Singh (Jr) Club 3-0. In other matches, Surankote trounced District Police XI 3-0 and Pinto Club beat Chandak Club 3-1.
This tournament is being held under the guidance of Tariq Khan (convenor) and Salim Bandey (organizing secretary).
