Adbi Kunj observes 'World no Tobacco Day' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 4: Adbi Kunj a well known literary organization and encouraging the young and up coming writers poets in various languages observe world no tobacco day at its weekly literary meet here today. Speakers on the occasion urged upon the smokers to give up the bad habit of smoking as it kills lakhs of people annually in the country. They said smoking is very injurious for the women as smoking reduces fertility and lead to abortions etc. A condolence meeting was also held to mourn the untimely demise of Sarmad Tahir, Grand son of well knew Journalist and writer Tahir Murtaz at Srinagar recently. Sham Talika who chaired the condolence meeting expressed great shock and grief over the demise of young Samad Tahir and prayed to almighty to grant peace to the deposited soul and courage to the family to bear this irreversible loss.
