| Workshop for empowerment of women held at Vijaypur | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 4: The MLA , Indu Pawar organizes a workshop for empowerment of women in collaboration with central Bank of India at Vijay here today. This was the second meeting of the series which was attended of a large number of women folk, belonging to Purmandal, Katli, Ramgarh, Nandpur and Uttar Bani etc villages. Speaking on the occasion MLA Pawar exhorted women folk for encouraging and supporting their daughters for higher education as all the results declared have shown overall better performance by the girls. The achievements of the daughters should be encouraged and girls should be encouraged to participate in all competitions like KAS, IAS, Doctors, Engineer and Educationists. The seminar which is being held with help of the Central Bank of India was attended by the local management of Central Bank of India. Pawar thanked the Bank management D.K Rana, Senior Manager, Central Bank of India for their help in spreading the message for upliftment and empowerment of women and gave details of the various loan schemes of the Bank and also explained the detail of formation of self help group she also said that this is also a theme of Congress Party's programme for empowerment of women.
