| Eight Handicraft dealers booked | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, June 4: A special drive against the handicraft dealers for their mal-practices, the tourist trade enforcement wing of handicraft department conducted surprise inspections in Boulevard/Residency Road areas and found eight defaulters. Fine to the tune of Rs 1600 was collected on account of violation of touristy trade act from these dealers.
More inspection teams headed by quality control Inspectors have been formed and deputed to Jammu, Katra, Shivkhori, Patnitop, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg and other notified areas for conducting inspections of handicrafts dealers.
