| Prof Magotra admires adventure camp at Sprawling Buds | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 6: On the fifth day of the ongoing Adventure Camp for young students in Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, here, Professor Lalit Magotra, an eminent writer and president, Dogri Sanstha, Jammu admired the activities underway during his visit to the camp today.
Speaking to the young campers and the organizers, Professor Magotra stressed upon the qualities which are essential to succeed in life and to be a leader.
He said that self confidence and unwavering focus on the goal are the basic ingredients to achieve success in life. In the interactive session that followed the address, he advised the students to imbibe such values which make a person a better human being.
Earlier, on his arrival, Professor Magotra went around the camp and witnessed various activities being conducted in the camp.
He appreciated the efforts of the school to include adventure activities like Tarzan swing, beam balancing and Sport Climbing in the camp.
"Such activities inculcate boldness, concentration and self confidence in the students," he said.
The visiting guest was much impressed by the art and craft work done by the participants under the guidance of Vikas Sharma, an artist who has been come all the way from from Sarla Birla Academy, Bangalore for the camp.
He advised the school authorities to conduct such a camp during winter vacations also by making some more adventure activities part of it.
