| Buland Khan remembered on his death anniversary | | |

JAMMU, June 6: Veteran Gujjar leader and former Vice Chairman of J&K Gujjar Bakerwal Advisory Board Haji Buland Khan remembered on his 3rd death anniversary in a function held here today.
A large number of senior citizens from different communities attended the programme organized by Haji Buland Khan Memorial Charitable Trust which was presided over by veteran journalist and human right activist Balraj Puri.
Those who paid respect to the departed soul included Bhushan Lal Parimu, Anwar Chowdhary, B S Manhas, Ch Akhter Husain Khatana, Zahoor-ud-Din, R K Kalsotra president SC/ ST Confederation, Chowdhary Ab Hamid, Roshan Din Chowdhary President Tribal United Front, Hussan Parvaiz, Chowdhary Mohd Shafi, Abdul Sattar Rather, Abdul Aziz Qureshi, Amir-ud-Din Kasana and a number of other senior citizens and Gujjar leaders recollected their association with Haji Buland Khan and his services for the society in general and for Gujjar Community in particular.
Speaking on the occasion, Balraj Puri described Haji Buland Khan a legend, hard worker and determined person who struggled throughout his life for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden people, adding that he never changed his loyalty.
Roshan Din, president of Tribal United Front announced that a Charitable Trust in the memory of Haji Buland Khan would focus on education for the children of deprived sections of people which was a cherished dream of Haji Buland Khan.
