Majority communities silence over KP youths | Employment matter of concern says KHC | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, June 6: The activists of Kashmiri Hindu conference (KHC) in a executive body meeting having expressed serious concern over the deliberate silence by the majority community (Muslims) of the valley with regard to Kashmiri Pandit youths employment in the Valley. Addressing the meeting M.L. Thusoo said that this disgusting situation has spread shock waves and alarming sensation among the community members and added. No person can even live in a hostile and suffocating atmosphere. He said the Socio-political scenario is not congenial for the return of the youth was a unionmous opinion of the house. The majority community did not also bother to reciprocate dialogue process. Secularism which is a trust and faith of a healthy Social life has vanished in the social setup in the valley. The leaders alarmed the community members KP's not to take any risk at the cost of life and honour, as it will be suicidal and counterproductive. The leaders in the meeting stressed for a safe and secure big town-ship in the valley and also demanded equal treatment under the rule of law. They further demanded "Might is right" trend style needs to be curbed to restore order and justice to create an atmosphere for minuscule minority of KP's to live freely in the valley. He said N.C. leaders were reminded of their tall claims when they failed miserably to fight terrorism and militancy in 1989. The then chief-minister chose to resign but till then nearly hundred Kashmiri pandits were brutally massacred. The community cannot bear such tragedies of 1989-90 to repeat again. The meeting was addressed among others by P.L. Koul Budgami, K.L. Ganjoo, A.K. Shadhoo, Jai-Krishen Raina Makloom, M.L. Daftari, S.N. Raina, M.L.Koul, A.K. Bhat & J.L. Mantoo.
